Become a Voter Registration Trainer with Vote for Homes!
“Train the Trainer” session:
Friday March 12, 2010
1-4 PM
Training held at 1515 Fairmount Ave.
Snacks provided.
• Become a Voter Registration trainer, and teach others how to register voters.
• Learn voting rights for people who are homeless, ex-offenders, and those with disabilities. For example, did you know that people who have felony convictions can vote as soon as they are released from prison?
• Practice group facilitation skills so that you can be an effective trainer.
• Bring the information and training materials back to your group and learn how you can support the Vote for Homes! Campaign.
The deadline for voter registration is April 19th for the Primary and October 4th for the General Election, so it’s time to get started!
