Who are we voting for?
Voters registered as Democrats or Republicans will vote for the following: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, U.S. Senate, Congress, State Senators and State Representatives, and Committee People. All registered voters can vote on ballot questions.

VOTER RIGHTS INFORMATION
WHO CAN VOTE?
• All registered Philadelphians over the age of 18 who registered by April 19, 2010.
• You can vote if you are on probation or parole, serving time for a misdemeanor, in jail awaiting trial, on house arrest, have a previous felony record in PA or another state. You cannot vote if you are currently serving time for a felony or are on pre-release status.

NEED HELP VOTING?
• Voters may choose someone to assist them. Anyone can help EXCEPT the voter’s union representative, employer or the Judge of Elections. Vote For Homes! volunteers can help if you want.
HAVE YOU MOVED?
• Vote where you are registered.
VOTING FOR THE FIRST TIME AT YOUR POLLING PLACE?
• Voters only need ID if it is your first time voting at a new polling site, but BE PREPARED – BRING I.D.
• ACCEPTABLE ID: Valid PA driver’s/non-driver’s license, a voter ID card, valid passport, federal government ID card, valid student I.D., firearm permit, a current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or government check.
NAME NOT ON THE LIST?
• Ask poll worker to call Election Board to find out where you should vote.
CHALLENGES
• “Pollwatchers” may challenge your right to vote – ask for an “affidavit” and have another voter in your division verify your identity.
PROVISIONAL BALLOT
• If you are told that you may not vote for any reason you may request a “provisional ballot” and vote on paper. Ask for a receipt.
