The Vote For Homes! Coalition is sponsoring a special event to watch the live televised debate between Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, which is taking place here in Philadelphia this Wednesday, April 16, at 8:00 p.m. We are inviting members of our coalition, particularly persons who are or have been homeless, low-income and ex-offenders, to come together to watch the debate. We will listen to the candidates then discuss how or whether they addressed the issues that are critical to us – real solutions to homelessness and poverty. Media will be invited to attend and cover our event and our perspectives. Snacks will be served.
